About Your Family

My husband and I were high school sweethearts. We just celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary on September 17th. We have 2 children. Our son Joshua who is 39 years old, married and has a stepson named Justin and a 9 year old daughter named Raegan. We also have a daughter, Rachael. Rachael is 37, married and has 2 children, Luke who is 12 and Hope who is 9. They all attend RockPointe.

What’s your story?

I was born in Fort Worth, Texas. I have an older brother and a younger brother. I attended Lake Worth elementary, junior high and high school. I met my husband in high school. He graduated in 1981 and I graduated in 1983. We were married in 1983. My parents were saved in 1984 and started attending church. It wasn’t until 1986 that I was saved. I was at a revival and the message was about the wheat and the tares. How they both look alike, act alike. But, the tare was empty inside. That is how I felt. I was going to church and going through all of the motions, but I hadn’t actually accepted Jesus as my Savior. I did that night!

What’s something about you most people don’t know?

I am an open book. There is not anything people don’t know about me.

Besides the Bible, what is something you’d recommend someone to read?

I would recommend Dr Charles Stanley’s daily devotions.

What are you most excited about?

I am very excited to be joining the team at RockPointe. I have worked recently in the real estate field, but I am excited about doing something that actually makes a difference.

What do you like to watch on TV?

I really like movies based on true events and game shows.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I watch TV, color or do puzzle books.
