About your family
I’m married to Debbie Avinger and have 2 sons, George and Marcus. My mother lives an hour north of Flower Mound. Debbie’s mother lives in the Panhandle of Texas. I have one sister and she is 4 years younger with two adult children. She is a grandmother to 2 boys and 1 girl. Debbie has 4 siblings all with families and children.
What is your story?
I’m creative and not very sports-oriented. I always prefer having projects. My testimony could be defined by 9s. I was nine when first asked Jesus to come into my heart. I was nineteen when I realized I was a rebellious, non-practicing Christian and sought to be a better person. At 29, approaching a commitment to marry, I was still not a true follower but desired to be the right kind of husband. At 59, everything fell into place after the Lord brought me through a crucible of enormous change and I and my family are living our best years because of it.
