SERVE DFW

March 14 & 16-19, 2026


Serve DFW is a family mission trip experience right here in our own community—no packing required! Spend spring break serving together as a family while learning, growing, and loving others in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.


Throughout the week, families will be equipped to confidently share their faith and then put it into practice through local outreach. We’ll engage with people from diverse cultures and faith backgrounds while partnering with local community organizations to meet real needs right here in DFW.


Each day will begin at the church with prayer and preparation before heading out to serve. We’ll return for group discussion, debrief, and fellowship, then head home.


It’s a fun, impactful way to spend spring break serving together, growing in faith, and sharing the love of the Lord with family and church friends—right here in your own backyard!


If you are not able to attend all the events due to work or other commitments, no problem at all! You (and your children) are welcome to join as many events as your schedule allows. Just let us know which ones you can attend as soon as possible, and we will make sure you have a place to serve.

Serve DFW Itinerary

Saturday, March 14

  • Cross-cultural outreach training for adults and children with Café 1040 and ViaNations (lunch provided), Parker Square | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
  • Dinner and games with UNT International Students, Christian Community Campus, Denton | 4:00–7:00 PM


Monday, March 16

  • Hindu Temple Educational Tour, Hindu Temple of Frisco | 9:00–10:30 AM
  • Lunch provided at RockPointe – Parker Square & Debrief Discussion | 11:30 AM–1:00 PM


Tuesday, March 17

  • Evangelism with International Commission, Parker Square | 1:00–2:30 PM
  • Evangelism & Outreach at Denton Square / Andy Brown Park, Coppell | 4:00–7:00 PM

Wednesday, March 18

  • Many Helping Hands – Day Shelter for the Homeless, Cross Creek Community Church, Irving | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
  • Debrief & Late Lunch after 2:00 PM, Irving


Thursday, March 19

  • Spring Cleaning & Fellowship with our El Roi Friends (ministry for widows and widowers at RPC) | 9:30 AM–12:30 PM
  • Celebration & Debrief Lunch TBD | 1:00 PM

Please note that you will be responsible for meals on Tuesday, March 17th, during evangelism and outreach, and on Wednesday, March 18th, during debrief and lunch. The rest of the meals will be provided.
