MISSIONS: SERVE LOCALLY

Cross Cultural and Evangelism

Denton County is home to students and families from around the world, and RockPointe has a unique opportunity to extend Christ-centered hospitality right here in our own community. Through partnerships with groups such as SWAGATH, Christian Campus Community, Bridges International, and others, we are building connections with international students at UNT. This outreach helps foster meaningful relationships, offer practical support, and create welcoming spaces where students can experience friendship, encouragement, and the love of Christ.

WAYS ROCKPOINTE HAS HELPED

  • Equipping the congregation through cross-cultural outreach training
  • Serving food and hosting tables at monthly SWAGATH events
  • Organizing and hosting AI conferences featuring business and technical leaders from RockPointe
  • Providing church members as speakers for student events
  • Hosting dinner and game nights for international students
  • Hosting students families while visiting
  • UNT Football game tailgates
  • Welcoming students into Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations
  • Building ongoing friendships with UNT students and young adults from around the world

As this ministry continues to grow, there are many ways to get involved. Whether you would like to host students for a meal, serve at an event, provide practical support, help with transportation, or simply build friendships with international students, your involvement can make a meaningful impact.
