Dianne Salvagno Costa is the former Mayor of Highland Village and co-owner of Sharp Focus Centers for Counseling, Education & Mediation.   Mrs. Costa is a charter member of Rockpointe Church where she has served as Chair of Pastoral Care, Finance, and Pastor Accountability Board and as an educator in Parenting, Marriage and Women’s issues.

She has served the city, region and metroplex in a variety of areas. She was elected to the Highland Village City Council for eight years where she has served as Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and Mayor Pro Tem. She was elected in 2006 and 2008 to two year terms as the city’s Mayor. Ms. Costa was appointed to serve as a member on the Texas Municipal League Resolutions Committee and the Committee on General Government. She was appointed to serve on the National Multi Model Transportation Steering Committee for the Untied States and as Alternate for the City of Highland Village on the Denton County Transportation Authority.

She and her husband Dennis Costa reside in Highland Village. She has been blessed in the ability to raise seven sons and two daughters as well as 14 grandchildren.
