Ron Holton
Pastor
Wife: Allison. Children: Brock (8), Chloe (4).
My Story: I felt called to be a minister in high school, but did not really consider full-time ministry until I served in the Philippines and taught in high school. During that time, I felt God leading me to go to seminary, which led me to move to Fort Worth and attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I had the opportunity to serve at two fabulous churches: First Baptist Euless and Prestonwood. While serving at Prestonwood the Lord impressed upon my heart and my family's hearts to begin a new church in 2002. We moved to Lantana and started the Church at Lantana, which later changed names to RockPointe Church.
Something Most People Don't Know: I was a high school teacher and football coach before going to seminary.
My Trademark Expression: "Sin makes you stupid."
Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be: My Utmost for His Highest (Chambers), Celebration of Discipline and Devotional Classics (Foster) and anything by C. S. Lewis.
I'm Most Excited About: The future of RockPointe living out its mission and vision.
My Favorite TV Shows: Parenthood & sports
In my free time, I usually: Spend time with my family and coach or attend my son's sporting events.

Christy McCallum
Children's Minister, 1st - 5th
My Family: Husband, Luke; Son, Gage
My Story: I spent several years working with Senior Adults as an Alzheimer Unit Director and Admissions Director. I love senior adults and still spend time with them today, but God began to grow my love and my heart to include children. As a result, I received my teacher's certificate and went to work with students in Special Education for a year. God blessed us with a baby boy at the end of that year. After staying home with Gage while he was young, we both started school together-- he as a kindergartner, and I as a teacher. I've spent the last five years at Liberty Christian School with sweet kindergartners and first graders. One of the greatest joys in the past ten years of volunteer children's work in my previous church home as well as career work in school has been to watch children come to different levels of understanding as to who God is and how He fits into their lives as someone who TRULY loves them. The calling of
" ministering to children" happened long ago, but the reality of this job at RPC is that it doesn't feel like a job at all-- but an opportunity to get to do something I love EVERY single day.
Something Most People Don't Know: I really love coffee.... (ha! MOST people know this)
My Trademark Expression: This makes me so happy!
Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be: anything Max Lucado, anything Spurgeon
I'm Most Excited About: Making music, watching children have the aha! moment about Jesus, creating environments that help children grow, spending time with my boys, spending time with my friends
In my free time, I usually: take part in my son's experimental test operations with his inventions, Curl up with a blanket, coffee, and a book; or have a good heart to heart with a friend
My Favorite TV Shows: Scooby Doo, Dance Moms
Favorite Quote: "Are you kidding me right now???"

Michael Flores
Senior Worship Leader
My Family: Wife Cathy, Children: Jennifer (10), Austin (7), Jordan (10 mos.).
My Story: My extended family is my church and I serve because this is the place God has called me to be. My God-provided gifts match a need the church has and the church allows me to serve here. When RockPointe was still called the Church at Lantana, we had about 75 people attending and were meeting in a school cafeteria, my family started attending and we quickly got plugged into a small group led by David Glass (who is still a great friend today). Then I connected with the church softball team where I could build some new relationships and my wife and I also began serving in the children's area. Along the way, my wife mentioned to Allison Holton that I played guitar and sang in college. It wasn't long before Ron gave me the opportunity to dust off my old guitar and start helping out with worship, singing harmony, and playing guitar here and there as needed to support the existing worship leader, Michael Armstrong (a great mentor and friend). When Michael pursued another calling, I was allowed the opportunity to step into the role of recruiting volunteer musicians, setting up rehearsals and selecting the songs that aligned with Sunday's message, on a temporary basis. Ron, after much reflection and prayer I'm sure, saw that I was growing stronger in faith and in the confidence necessary to lead people into worshipping God through music and gave me the role of senior worship leader on a more permanent basis. For me, I wasn't sure I would be worthy enough, talented enough, or even spiritual enough to lead this area, but God has been there each step of the way to assure me that He can use me at this time and He'll bail me out when I'm in over my head (a frequent occurrence). Fast forward to today, I look back now and see how God has grown me so rapidly every step of the way, never giving me too much that I would fail, but certainly stretching me in areas of faith, knowledge and priorities. I am thankful that God led us to this place at this time to be a part of RockPointe's worship arts ministry. God has given me as an individual and as a father and husband so many blessings that I am amazed at His grace towards a pit dweller like me. God has so many wonderful opportunities for our church going forward that I can't wait to see what He does next.
Something Most People Don't Know: My wife brought a coupon along on our first date and I was hooked from that moment on. She has been, and continues to be, my best friend. She helps me to smell the roses and take in God's creation all around us. I would be lost without her and I'm so glad that God has become the foundation upon which our marriage is based. Her faith is amazing and so is her smile. (Most people actually do know that last part).
My Trademark Expression: "It is what it is" and "Let's call a duck, a duck."
Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be: Pretty much anything by Max Lucado. I'm not much of a reader, but I enjoy how Max can bring his stories to life in such a dramatic way using only words.
I'm Most Excited About: Getting to lead worship each Sunday.
My Favorite TV Shows: Survivor, American Idol, and The Apprentice.
In my free time, I usually: What is free time? Not much of that these days with young children, however we do enjoy spending time with the kids. We are in the phase of life where we spend our time delivering our kids to and from their various activities. Occasionally my daughter and I get go do a father/daughter date complete with a Mani/Pedi (she gets/I watch) and my older son and I like to go fishing, hiking and play basketball. My wife and I, every so often, get in our couples downtime at the Gaylord Hotel with massages at their wonderful spa and eating a relaxing breakfast at their world class buffet.

Spouse: Holly
Children: Shaelee (10), Rylee (7), Silas (5), Levi (2)
Calling/Story: When I was a junior in high school, I was listening to a sermon at my church on a Sunday night entitled "How To Know If You Are Called Into Ministry As A Vocation." Something most people don’t know is: I consider ice cream to be a necessary ingredient of each day.

Associate Worship Leader
My Family: Wife Yvonne. Children: Annaka (12), Amanda (10).
My Story: I have always sung for as long as I can remember, but I didn't "worship" truly until I cried out to God out of my pain in worship over the tragic death of a friend. Alan Michael
Executive Pastor
My Family: Jamie & I have been married 15 years, and have three children: McKenna (12), Libbie (11), Ashton (10).
My Story: I was strongly impacted by volunteer and paid student pastors at a time when my father was not active in my life. As a High School senior, I felt a spiritual calling to full time vocational ministry. At that point I wasn't sure what that role would be (Senior Pastor? Students?). Outside of that sense of calling in 1994, my greatest lesson learned is that calling is a journey. Although I still don't know why I took all those AP Science classes, the Lord has allowed me to see how my time, interests and even personality can be surrendered to God's bigger story.

In my free time, I usually: Watch movies with my husband or kids. When it is baseball season we frequent the Ranger’s ballpark to cheer on our team (we are a bit fanatic). I also LOVE naps.
My Favorite TV Shows: We watch a lot of fantasy shows like Fringe and my all time favorite was Battlestar Galactica.

My Story: I was lucky enough to be raised in a Christian home and I am blessed with parents who are married and have always been a good example of how to live a Godly life. I asked Jesus into my life while watching Billy Graham at the age of 6. There have been struggles with faith along the way, but God has always gently brought me back into his presence. Praise God for his patience!
Something Most People Don't Know: I lived in Mexico for a period in college. It was the time of my life!

Linda Morrison
Assoc. Children's Minister/ 4th-5th
My Family: Husband-Blake, Children-Chase and Ainsley, we also have 7 pets who are truly a part of our family!
My Story: Most of my adult life I was focused on my career in the Hospitality Industry. On March 10, 2001 I gave my life to Christ and He changed my life in a way I could not have predicted. Blake and I were married in 2003 and were blessed with our children in 2004 and 2005. In 2009 after over a year of prayer, we decided that I would stop working in the capacity I was in and focus on our family. I began volunteering heavily with the Children's Ministry at our (former) church and at our children's schools. Additionally, I began work with Traffick911 (an anti-human trafficking organization). After 15 years at our previous church home, God moved us to RockPointe and opened up an opportunity for me to work here. I have always had a heart for children and teens and feel so fortunate that God has called me to work with them.
Something Most People Don't Know: I once skydived from 13,500 feet!
My Trademark Expression: No problem!
Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be: Leadership Biblically Speaking by Cottrell and Living By The Book by Hendricks
I'm Most Excited About: God's plans for our family and our church, and to see God abolish modern-day slavery.
In my free time, I usually: Play some type of game or activity with Blake and/or the kids. Right now, we are (or possibly just me!) a little obsessed with "Words with Friends". Although, I should be running...
My Favorite TV Shows: All the oldies on TV Land ~ especially "Andy Griffith"
Favorite Quote: “Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” Einstein

Matthew Harding
Connections Pastor
Family: Jennifer Leigh Harding (married 18yrs); Sarai Elisabeth (15yrs old) and Jonathan Servais (14 yrs old)
Calling/Story: I was saved in France when I was 16 and there developed a heart for missions. My heart yearns for a world in which Christ is preeminent! In college as I was studying to be a doctor, the Lord called me to full-time vocational ministry. I have been pastoring young adults (college-age, young professionals, young marrieds) for 17 years and love to see young adults “get it” when they understand that they exist for the sole pleasure and glory of God!
Something most people don’t know is: I love to travel, I speak several languages, and actually have tattoos from foreign countries; the tats are all Scripture which remind me daily to pray for various people groups around the world who need Jesus.
My trademark expression is: “Press On…for His highest glory!”
Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be: Wow…where to start: I am a fan of John Piper; Norman Geisler; John Eldredge; Dietrich Bonhoeffer; C.S. Lewis; Victor Hugo; Alexandre Dumas, John Calvin; Martin Bucer; Saint Augustine; Eusebius; and the Apostle John!
I’m most excited about: People falling in love with their Savior over again and developing a desire for richer theology in their lives.
My favorite TV shows: Big Bang Theory; King of Queens; all things Discovery Channel.
In my free time, I support my two great kids in their sporting endeavors; play with our two naked rat-dogs (they are hairless and ugly…Jen’s allergies); I enjoy movies of all sorts; and acrimoniously watch College Football. Go VOLS! Gig'em WHOOP!!

Brian Sanders
Marriage Ministry Director
Spouse and Children’s first name (include children’s ages): Married to Edie. Three grown daughters - Erin, Jamie & Brett, and two sons-in-law - Destin & Jon
Calling/Story: (why are you serving in ministry? special life experiences that led you?): Marriage & Family Ministry wasn't even on our radar when we married in 1980, but became a passion for us in 1991 when we attended a FamilyLife marriage getaway in Anchorage, Alaska. During that weekend, we had a ''light bulb'' moment where God clearly called us to pursue opportunities for equipping couples to experience life-long, thriving, and God-honoring marriages. Over the years while serving full-time with FamilyLife, our efforts became more focused on serving the local church through marriage ministry. God has blessed us beyond measure by bringing us to and allowing us to serve at RockPointe.
Something most people don’t know is: I am working on my Masters degree at Dallas Theological Seminary and intend to graduate before my first Social Security check arrives!
My trademark expression is: “Life is like a river….” and “You have any Tabasco to go with that?''
Besides the Bible, my recommended reading would be: Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose; The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis; Sacred Marriage by GaryThomas; This Momentary Marriage by John Piper; all of Skeeter Skelton’s works.
I’m most excited about: God allowing me to have a ringside seat to see the power of the Gospel transform marriages and families.
My favorite TV shows: Pawn Stars (P-A-W-N Stars!) and NCIS
In my free time, I: Read! I also like hunting, photography, and traveling with Edie.

Margo Baisley
My Family: Husband, Bob; Daughter, Margaret
My Story: Though I didn't grow up in "church going" home, I always had a yearning for God. I went to church every chance I got with my grandmothers or friends. I even rode the church bus for a time. I always knew that Jesus was my Savior and needed Him in my life.
I had a long career as a buyer in local government and was very focused on my job. When my daughter was born, I retired and became a full time mom. We moved to Flower Mound, found a good Bible church and my relationship to God really started to mature. I began volunteering in children's ministry and found that working with children was a calling. I love children and crying babies don't stress me at all!
Something Most People Don't Know: I have been rescued from drowning four times. (yes, four)
My Trademark Expression: "It will all work out."
In my free time, I usually: I lead a girl scout troop that takes a lot of my time. If I sit down for a minute, I like to crochet and work with my embroidery machine.
My Favorite TV Shows: I love Perry Mason and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Favorite Quote: "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation". - Thoreau
